The Olive Processing Plant project is being implemented in those union councils of district Zhob, where the environment is highly suitable for olive plantations. The project aims to enhance sustainable and resilient livelihood opportunities to help households graduate out of poverty. The Olive Processing Plant aims to enhance the capacity of local olive farmers to enter into partnership as a key stakeholder in the olive sector. The most important parts of the project are planting olive trees, training of Community Resource Persons and farmers to manage olive processing plant, building infrastructure and provision of tools.
