Shakar Bibi is a BOD member of Balochistan Rural Support Programme. She is the president of a Local Support Organization in district Mastung. She is also a social activist and has worked as a volunteer for organisations such as National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) and Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations as well as the district council local government in Mastung.
