Summary

BRSP is implementing the “Integrated Project for Community-Based Health and Nutrition Interventions in the marginalized districts of Balochistan” in collaboration with the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF). This initiative aims to improve the health and nutrition status of women, men, youth, and children under five. The project focuses on capacitating health workers, enhancing health facilities, raising maternal and child health awareness, family planning, nutrition, and early childhood development. The project strives to create sustainable health improvements in the target areas by engaging community mobilizers and establishing health and nutrition clubs. The project will benefit nearly 108,010 individuals, including 20,000 women of reproductive age, 21,700 children under five, and 17,800 men. Key activities include training healthcare providers, developing educational materials, and providing essential supplies such as zinc and ORS for treating childhood diarrhea.
