Summary
BRSP is committed to reducing gender inequalities and ensuring gender inclusion across all projects and programs, in collaboration with the Provincial Women Development Department, EVAW/G Alliance, Women Economic Empowerment Council, provincial ombudsman, district-level line departments, I/NGOs, and civil society. BRSP believes that sustainable development cannot be achieved without addressing gender inequality, recognizing it as both a human rights issue and a development imperative. Women face multiple barriers in accessing resources, decision-making, and leadership roles due to gender-based discrimination and social norms.
At all levels, BRSP has made tremendous efforts to create an enabling environment for women to participate in economic, social, and political activities by providing them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources. BRSP also links GBV survivors to other service providers through referral pathways and ensures the provision of immediate psychosocial support to affected women and girls.
