--Balochistan Rural Support Programme Fights COVID-19
Balochistan Rural Support (BRSP) Programme with the financial support of the German Embassy, is providing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) training to students of madaris in Quetta and Pishin to empower the youth of Balochistan and provide livelihood opportunities for our unemployed youth.
A ceremony was organised to distribute toolkits and certificates among TVET trainees. Overall BRSP has given TVET trainings to 2188 youth. The Chief Guest of the ceremony was MPA Mir Akhtar Hussain Langove Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee while CEO BRSP Dr. Shahnawaz Khan, Religious Scholar Dr Attar UR Rehman, Shabir Langove- District Education Officer Quetta also participated in the ceremony.
Mr. Akhtar Hussain Langove, said that the world is focusing on technical education instead of formal education to revive the economy. He appreciated BRSP’s efforts to address the pervasive issue of youth unemployment in Balochistan and also giving youth of madaris a second chance of getting formal education through the Accelerated Learning Pathway (ALP) curriculum.
