Summary
BRSP, in partnership with PPAF, is implementing the EU-funded project “Post-Floods Resilient Recovery and Strengthening of the Livestock Sector in Balochistan.” The initiative will cover 120 Union Councils across six flood-affected districts, leveraging the existing footprint of EU-supported programmes.
The project aims to foster climate-resilient socioeconomic recovery by strengthening livestock value chains, restoring livelihoods, and promoting inclusive rural entrepreneurship. Key components include access to finance, institutional development, and sustainable livestock management. A structured, evidence-based selection framework will guide implementation, prioritizing areas based on vulnerability, flood impact, livestock potential, and community readiness—ensuring efficient resource allocation and long-term impact.
