Summary
BRSP as a Sub-Recipient (SR) with Indus Hospital and Health Network (IHHN) implementing the Malaria Control Programme (MCP) in 17 districts of Balochistan with the financial support of the Global Fund (GF). The program is aiming to reduce the incidence of malaria in high-endemic districts of Balochistan. It is strategically designed to ensure easy access to malaria preventive and early diagnosis and treatment services through different public and private health facilities.
The proposed interventions are based on the national strategic plan 2021-35. The main emphasis is on the effective implementation of the Test, Treat, and Track (T3) WHO strategy for the control of malaria strategy) and achievement of the Global Technical Strategy (GTS) burden reduction target to contribute to the bigger goal of a malaria-free Pakistan. The NFM-III grant envisages covering 21 districts of Balochistan, out of which 17 districts are allocated to BRSP
