Livelihood Employment & Enterprise Development Project (LEED Batch 65)

BRSP with the financial support of PPAF has implemented Livelihood Employment & Enterprise Development Project (LEED Batch 65) in 3 union councils (Sarawan, Jamak, & Raskoh) of District Kharan.

BRSP entered into an agreement with PPAF in January, 2016 for the span of three months January 2016 to March 2016. Hence total duration of the projects was three months.

The project aimed to:

The project aim is to develop the capacity, opportunities, assets and productivity of community members to reduce their vulnerability to shocks, improve their livelihoods initiatives and strengthen their business operations.

Major Deliverables of the project included; Livelihood Enhancement Plan Development (LIPs), Capacity building of the assets beneficiaries, Capacity building of the LEED platforms and Assets provisions.

During the project period of January 2016 to March 2016, achievements against the major deliverables of the project were;

  • Total 444 Livelihood Investment Plans including 119 for women were developed which is 28% against the target of 444 LIPs.
  • 444 beneficiaries trained on skill, Enterprise Development trainings which is (100%) against the target 444 individuals.
  • 126 community member trained on different training under LEED platform which is (113%) against the target of 112 individuals.
  • Asset provided to 420 Ultra/vulnerable beneficiaries (100%) against the target 420 beneficiaries.
